Orientation & Belay Check
For each method of climbing our walls there is an associated check to ensure you have the necessary skills and can demonstrate risk management with the equipment you intend to use in our facility. Our checks are “pass or fail” format. Instruction will not be provided during the chekck.
Instruction or coaching by our staff or friends is not permitted during any of our belay checks. Our checks are strict but fair. Please do not attempt to pass a belay check if you have not climbed in a long time. We abide by strict regulations for belaying in order to appropriately manage the risks associated with the climbing environment.
